    What you'll doThis is an absolutely exciting opportunity to join us as we are on the cusp of a brand-new visual identity ready to be rolled-out. Reporting to the Head of Brand Marketing and Partnerships, we're looking for a self-starting individual to form and run our in-house design studio.This role will drive improvements in design standards across the business to create a best in class visual identity. As our new visual identity is yet to be rolled-out and we need a designer with the flexibility and experience to develop and improve our design as we move from planning to real-life.As you'd expect in a busy Marketing team, you'll also need amazing attention to detail and be organised enough to juggle projects and meet deadlines. As a great team player, you'll have the communication skills required to liaise with other members and act as the design guardian of the Flagstone visual identity. Your responsibilities will include:Liaising with internal team members to discuss the business objectives and requirements of each job and supporting the business in development of design briefs.Managing timelines / deliverables across multiple projects, scheduling design time and updating team members.Working across multiple channels / media in both print and digital (advertising, reports, website, customer forms, emails, social media assets, infographics etc.).Use of In-Design, photoshop, editing and creating basic illustrations/vector art.Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design.Presenting finalised ideas and concepts to internal stakeholders.Briefing and managing external specialist design agencies / suppliers when required eg illustration / photography.Working with a range of media, including computer-aided design (CAD), and keeping up to date with emerging technologiesWorking as part of the Flagstone team with copywriters, web developers and marketing specialists.Developing brand guidelines and toolkits.Approve use of Flagstone brand assets by external third parties where appropriate.Staying up to date on new design technologies to improve our customer experience and support the business.Support the business in the development of toolkits for PowerPoint (creating templates and slide masters) and other software to deliver the visual identity consistently.What you'll need5 years + experience in an agency / in-house design teamExcellent design sense and art skills for presentations, extremely proficient in PowerPoint including animations.Excellent at creating charts, graphs and figures for PowerPoint presentations.
