    Menagerie is seeking 3 actors for the following rolesRole 1: Marcus, late-40s to early 50s, Black British maleRole 2: Miriam, late-40s to early 50s, White British femaleRole 2: Emil, their son, early-mid 20s, Mixed Race British maleZoom rehearsed reading of a new 20-minute play, An Everyday Family Practice, to be filmed for the Cambridge Festival, written and directed by Patrick Morris. Dates: Wednesday 10th March – Friday 12th March. 3 days in total, 9.30am – 5pm each day.Pay: £550The play is made in collaboration with ‘A Good Death?’, a research project at Cambridge University which explores ways in which literature might encourage more articulate conversations about death & dying.    The play revolves around Emil, who has a terminal illness. He is on a mission to create a sound archive of the important relationships in his life, beginning by interviewing his parents. Miriam is in deep grief, Marcus is in deep denial and Emil’s questions expose the fissures & tensions within the family as they contemplate his oncoming death.  The end product will be an edited rehearsed reading, employing as much ingenuity as possible within the limitations of zoom, and how much we can achieve over the 3 days. It will be streamed as part of an event at the Cambridge Festival on March 27th. Meetings with actors to take place over Zoom on Monday 8th March.
