    A bit about the Team:As part of the Global Social & Editorial Team, you’ll be a key player in the animation of the brand presence on various social channels, for our customers in all territories. The team works across multiple projects but with a primary focus on the long-tail benefit of brand growth through excellent, engaging social content.The Role:You’ll take the lead on our organic social channel strategy, working with the Social & Editorial Lead to develop long-tail (i.e. 6-monthly) focuses as well as weekly and daily changes to the output we create.Supported by a team of managers, execs and assistants, some of who will report in to you, you will understand how to develop a strategic social plan based on channel best-practice. You’ll be the point of contact for the data and analytics experts who are embedded in the team, and will use this data to inform the overall channel approach as it changes on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.Your role will include:Being responsive to ongoing channel and audience updates by using the data and insight within the business to ensure the social media managers amend their content plansSupport the Social and Content Managers by providing budget and project management support, in order for them to develop brilliant digital contentManage deliverables from across the business (retail, brand and trade marketing) into our ongoing comms and channel plansFind efficiencies within our creative process and budget by sharing your ideas and experience in BAU contentCo-ordinate budgets across social, content and insiders to ensure we’re maintaining overall department efficiencies and spendSupport the Social and Editorial Lead with their relationships across our platforms and partnersWork with social analytics to provide context to reporting within reports including campaign moments and weekly/monthly channel reportSupport Social and Editorial Lead and the Head of Performance Marketing with content co-ordination across paid and performance channelsSupport the Senior Global Content Manager with deliverables for non-social channels where appropriateBe a constant champion for social media in the business, with one eye on what our competitors are doingThe person:An enthusiastic team player with a genuine obsession for social media.Minimum of 5 years’ experience strategizing and creating brilliant social media content for brands.Agency experience is preferred.Harbouring a real interest in social media platform changes and news, committed to exploring how ASOS might maintain a first-move advantage on each channel.Impeccable organisation skills and the ability to keep projects moving and ensure deadlines are met.Ability to act as an ambassador for the ASOS brand on shoots with talent and partner brands.Strong numerical know-how for reporting and analysing stats.An interest in fashion, trends and pop culture our 20-something audience love.And passion for the ASOS brand.
