We seek someone who is passionate about our purpose and values and can demonstrate their experience delivering high-quality, multi-channel campaigns – which includes social media and audio-visual content as appropriate. Proven experience of working in a similar communications role, in a media handling environment, a creative HE environment or in the wider creative and cultural industries is welcome, as is handling relationships with media agencies. You will be sensitive to the different audiences and be able to tailor your approach when communicating with students, staff or alumni.You will build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, be able to plan a strong communications calendar of activities and have experience of crisis communications. The successful candidate will need to be proactive, organised and used to managing a busy workload, working on several different campaigns simultaneously. You will possess impeccable writing and editorial skills, with the ability to take complex information and summarise it for a range of different audiences. You will have contacts amongst arts media and a good awareness of the Higher Education landscape. High-level IT/digital media skills, including use and development of audio-visual equipment and software; social media platforms; and desktop publishing packages is also welcome.
