Independent Arts Projects are looking for 2 Female Egyptian or MENA region actors or voice over artists for a new site-based, outdoor, promenade audio drama recording this May. This is a professional, paid opportunity. Rates and final schedule are still being finalised but rates will be industry standard or above. ProfilePlaying age: 18-30 years Nationality: Egyptian or connected to MENA region (Middle East/North Africa) Accent & dialect: Egyptian, Arab, Middle EasternLanguages: English, Arabic Voice quality (character 1): Clear, energetic, sincere, precise, engaged, emotiveVoice quality (character 2): Strong, clear, expansive, assured, earthy Dates & Location:Rehearsals and recording will take place between in May 2021. This is likely to be between 1-2 weeks work. 1-2 days additional recording might be required in June. Location TBC. A selection of extracts from the play will be sent for actors to read in audition. As part of our approach to casting for this production, we are actively searching for people who meet the profile outlined here, we are reaching out to agents, have completed searches on Mandy and Spotlight but also want to open out to responses through an open call as we are open to hear from those either represented or unrepresented. The timeline is much shorter than we would have liked – apologies if you feel this timeline excludes you.
