TEACHER Needed e - Steyning BranchDRAMA TEACHER We teach children ages 6-16 and focus on allowing them to be as creative as possible by encouraging them to be a part of the whole process – from writing and devising their own shows, to learning stage make up and how to direct others.JOB DESCRIPTION:To create fun and skills based 2 hour lessons suitable for children aged 6-16 each week.Teachers must be able to independently co-ordinate and create two 30-40 minute annual shows for their venue.Teachers are also required to perform small amounts of admin for their venue and must uphold the professional and high standards of the company when interacting with students, parents and the public.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Experience working professionally in the performing arts industry is preferable.Experience teaching performing arts.Experience working with groups of children.Up to date DBS check.Organised, punctual and able to meet deadlines.PERSONAL PROFILE:The most important qualities are energy, enthusiasm, inventiveness, flexibility with lesson plans, positivity, humour, ability to devise productions, promote the company in a positive manner and teach the students amazing skills that are going to equip them for a life in or out of the arts environment.DedicatedInventiveFlexibleFunLikeableWonderfully TalentedNon - Jazz Handy!
