Mozzy and the Prof! Is a low-budget Christian children's production, made at my home during lockdown last year. However, the show will probably be broadcast on numerous Christian networks around the world.I am looking for an actress to play Professor Malachi's daughter. Her main role is to read Bible passages to the Professor and Mozzy Mouse, to set them up for their adventure. Most lines therefore can be read and don't need to be learned, it's very short notice anyway! However a some lines will need to be memorised, as well as the general flow of the scenes.There are nine scenes to shoot on Monday, which will mean a pretty pacey schedule, however all scenes are similar, seated in the same place and having the same structure so very achieveable. The character should be young, lovely and female, a character young children will find warm and enchanting, in the mould of Mary Poppins.The shoot is very small-scale, with one highly experienced filmmaker handling camera, and one other person, the actor playing Professor Malachi. The shoot will be exterior, so a rain forecast will mean postponement at potentially short notice. Pay will be £300 for the day plus 0.35p per mile travel allowance. Lunch will be provided from a local takewaway. Shoot is at a private residence with two friendly male team members, so facilities are limited to a domestic setting. Parking is available on-site. Driver with car is important for an early start as local transport is unreliable. We would request that you provide costume if possible, summery, floral dress and makeup.
