Stagecoach Portishead is currently recruiting for an exciting and vibrant drama teacher/director for our Saturday school which runs 10am-1pm each week in Portishead.Candidates must be energetic and passionate about theatre and enjoy working work children aged 6-18, helping them develop confidence through the Arts.Within the role, there are extra opportunities to shape and develop the students by directing large scale productions and shows in house as well as public performances. Events in the past include The Bristol Hippodrome and Her Majesty’s in London’s West End amongst many more.We’re looking for someone who has training in the arts at a degree level or equivalent and has some teaching experience. We expect our teachers to be prepared, organised and reliable.As a member of the team, you’ll be offered professional development workshops with our education team and working professionals from the industry to keep your teaching ideas fresh and current.If you can inspire young people through your talent, energy, creativity and passion for the Performing Arts, we are waiting to hear from you.
