    Our Theatre Schools in Sheffield are currently seeking a talented individual to deliver exciting and engaging Performing Arts classes to children aged 6-8 years. You must be creative, energetic and able to deliver a fun and exciting curriculum. We are looking for professionals who have a natural affinity with this age group and that are able to use their Performing Arts background to provide stimulating and challenging sessions for our students.Our Intro to Juniors (Ages 6-8) receive 20 minutes dance, 20 minutes singing and 20 minutes drama and we are looking for someone to deliver fun and exciting lessons covering Musical Theatre and Commercial styles of performance to them. We understand often performers are stronger in some disciplines than others therefore training will be provided where necessary and there is ample support within our team of experienced dance, drama and singing teachers for each area of the curriculum. Applicants should have some experience in all three areas and will be strong in at least one if not two. All our classes are currently running in a COVID safe way and teachers will be open to adapting their sessions accordingly.We are an award winning theatre school providing training in dance, drama and singing in both musical theatre and commercial styles to children aged 2-18 years. We aim to develop a child's confidence whilst they learn new skills, make new friends and have fun in a safe and secure environment. We have sessions running on a Thursday and a Saturday and currently we are looking for someone to deliver classes on a Saturday morning for 2 or 3 hours depending on the needs of the school in September.The job role includes, but is not limited to:-Working as part of a team committed to providing high quality performing arts training-Taking responsibility for all your classes performance numbers-Preparing/following weekly and termly lesson plans-Preparing students for termly presentations-Good organisation skills-Excellent communication skills-A natural affinity with children-A passion for the the Performing ArtsClasses are normally held at Meadowhead School, Dyche Lane, Sheffield, S8 8BR but we have temporarily relocated to Dronfield during Covid restrictions. The application deadline is Monday 2nd August and interviews will be held via zoom w/c 9th August. Pay is determined by experience but always far supersedes NMW for teaching roles.
