LOGLINE:When a young girl finds herself trapped in a world of artificiality and distant parents, she seeks freedom in the form of drawing her own graphic novels. Will her cartoonish view of the world set her free or keep her aching for change?BRIEF SYPNOSIS:Jorja, otherwise known as Jorj, finds herself stuck in a world of artificiality. In a quiet house where everyone eats separately in their rooms, she finds herself absorbed in drawing her own comic books starring skeletons. The drawings portray her fantasies of growing up and her struggles with her parents. In hopes to feel powerful, she runs off to her local junkyard where she sets her graphic novel free in the form of paper planes for a sense of emotional outburst and release.We are looking her two parents MAISIE AND GORDON to take part in the melancholic, dark drama.This is a student short film by MetFilm School Graduates, the shoot will be either 3 or 4 days - confirmation will be upon hiring but we ask for full availability between 30th August and 2nd September.
