    The Video Editor in the creative studio plays a fundamental role in the post-production, creative development and delivery of all our video and animation projects. You will create exciting motion scenes, based on high energy physical activity and lifestyle imagery. You will also be a key player in the post production of our in-house produced video assets, with the support of both the Motion Manager and specialists, from shoot to final delivery.You’ll be working with and reporting to our Digital Motion Manager and VP of Creative.Your video deliverables will play a key role on our marketing performance through our digital advertising campaigns across all social media platforms. They will also elevate the consumer brand experience on all our stores worldwide, our social channels, Sweaty Betty.com, and wholesale websites. You will be able to respond to a brief, ask questions, ideate and collaborate with a cross-functional creative team and develop video concepts in line with the briefs.Your SB Journey:You will work with all our video assets which are either produced in house or outsourced productionsCut a variety of short films: campaign roll out, promotional videos, customer testimonials, interviews, website content spots, store video, product videos for social, etc.Carry out technical tasks in post-production, from receiving raw footage from shoots, prepping edits for colour grade, transcoding rushes, and overseeing post production of assets to the best possible standardJoin monthly meetings to evaluate the performance of recent campaigns and apply those learnings to your editsInput music, voiceovers and sound-effectsCreate rough and final cuts with multi-camera sequencesEnsure logical sequencing and smooth runningConsult with motion designers and project managers from production to post-production processProvide guidance and advice to consultancy team on video project proposalsContinuously discover and implement new editing effects and industry best practices to maximise efficiencyIf needed, assist in planning, storyboarding, and executing video shootsMust HavesBachelor’s Degree in Motion Graphics, Film, Video Editing or equivalent2+ years’ experience in video editing in-house at production house,or agencyExcellent knowledge of Adobe Premiere ProExcelent knowledge of video formats, exporting options, transcoding, creating proxies, project packaging, archiving, manipulating sound,etc.Great Knowledge of After EffectsKnowledge of Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Logic or similarKnowledge of Da Vinci Resolve is a plusBe passionate about popular culture, music, sports, fashion, current video and animation trends, to channel that energy into memorable audiovisual experiences fuelled by physical activity, sports, high energy lifestyle scenesMust be open minded to feedback, and flexible with amends required, being able to deliver creative for a variety of internal stakeholders and multiple platforms that have their specific requirementsAbility to prioritize multiple projects while simultaneously handling demands and changesExcellent writing and communication experienceOur D&I CommitmentOur mission is to empower all women.
