    Design Director to work with a prestigious technology client owning creatively-led production solutions. They will be responsible for the successful execution of in-region and global content that showcases talent in an innovative hands-on events programme that helps customers explore their passions and go further with the products they love. The ideal candidate has a natural curiosity for all things related to popular culture and has a passion for creative pursuits be that in arts and design, music, film-making, photography or coding.They should have a strong understanding of how to support a brand across digital spaces with a deep understanding of how to curate, design and produce for social platforms and dot-com. They must be used to working within a global infrastructure, collaborating with our extended teams and client stakeholders, who are spread across EMEA, AMR and APAC. They will be required to collaborate with client ACD’s, establishing strong working relationships and acting as a trusted extension of their team.Key responsibilities:Brand guardianship and design standards; for a strong parent identity and evolving sub-brand.Effective creative production; leading high frequency, multi-platform content with an emphasis on clean, simple storytelling, art and visual direction.Key stakeholder management; developing relationships with client side creative and programming leads.Leadership; motivate and mentor a global studio, connecting regional leads, managing consistent outputs and defining priorities.Design systems; ownership and respect for templatized creative, but with an ability to adapt and evolve under client guardianship.Executional; hands-on leader, owning new concept roll outs and delivery for more complex or high profile campaignsStudio workflow and optimisation; key contributor in streamlining delivery by helping strategise, templatise and even automate the repeatable design and production tasks.Design evolution; identifying and championing innovative and strategic thought leadership across the programme.Team structure; define studio requirements and work with regional leads to ensure skillsets across a global team mirror the client ask.Team wellbeing; promote and execute initiatives that strengthen morale and ensure a healthy, effect and prideful workplace.Studio expansion; help scale studio at peak moments, staffing up to deliver against both production and creative centric briefs.Partnership; leading external relationship with clients wider creative and production infrastructure, and proactively networking internally to optimise access to ideas and talent.Market best practise; stay abreast of industry developments, advising client and team leadsRequirementsMust have exeptional experience working in a Design role, ideally in advertising/design agencies or an in-house creative team.Deep knowledge of the design process from ideation to execution, including scaling and localising campaigns with a respect for global culture and language.Proven ability to communicate via compelling storytelling; whilst the role doesn’t require origination there is a heavy curation and editorial element.Strong leader with excellent people management skills and experience working with global teams.Confident presenter, comfortable delivering clear and concise proposals to internal and external stakeholders at all levels and collaborating to problem solve in the moment.A true commitment to accuracy and quality, every single time.Excellent understanding of design production process and how to scale creative delivery.Fluency across graphic design, typography, photography and illustration with skills in editing and retouchingA working knowledge of video/ animation/ motion graphics and/or HTML desired.Understanding and appreciation of how to produce files destined for Content Management systems that must adhere to technical and production design standards.Motivated by a challenging, fast-paced workplace and able to successfully manage team workload in said environment.Enthusiastic collaborator, able to establish rapport and open to other people’s ideas, promoting team development and low attritionResourceful, adaptable and results-oriented with high energy, a positive attitude and grace under pressure.Diversity and Flexibility Hogarth is committed to diversity and inclusion, through our ideas, our people, how we behave and conduct ourselves.  Creating a truly inclusive culture at all levels of the organisation that encourages different points of view, making Hogarth not only a better company and place to work but an environment where everyone experiences connection, opportunity and a sense of belonging. Many of our employees work flexibly in many different ways, including flexible hours or an element of working from home.
