Salary: £12/£14 per hourTerms: Casual or fixed term contracts not full time positionsHours: 46 hours per week working unsocial hours Monday-SaturdayHoliday: pro rata to hours workedReports to: Head of LightingAbout the rolesThe Bridge Theatre Lighting Department are currently looking for enthusiastic and talented lighting technicians to join our team of casuals. The Bridge relies on casual technicians during turnarounds - to assist with fit ups, get outs and lighting maintenance periods. We employ casual technicians on an hourly rate as and when needed. This role entails, rigging, focusing, general lighting maintenance and working closely alongside the in-house team to ensure the best possible results for our exciting productions.We are also looking for lighting operators for future productions and would welcome CV’s fromthose who have at least 2 years’ experience operating ETC consoles for live performances. We employ lighting operators on short term contracts depending on the length of the show. As a lighting operator at The Bridge, you will take responsibility for rig checks on a daily basis and operate the show live for each performance. You will be a key member of the production team for the run of the production, watching each performance and reporting back on any issues to ensure the lighting design is maintained throughout the run.
