ZUMAN is an animated absurdist tragicomedy which follows Steve - a human who has spent his whole life in captivity - as he gets a chance to venture out of his zoo enclosure for the first time. Will he get a chance to finally create a meaningful connection with one of his own? A 7-minute stop motion film, using materials such as felt and wax to create a haptic tactile film. This is an NFTS graduation film directed by Honor Price. In the past years, NFTS animation films have consistently been met with awards and festivals honours (BAFTAs, Annecy Film Festival...).
