Sing in the City is more than a choir. We sing, we laugh, we bring joy, support, and friendship. We are looking for experienced and confident Choir Coaches to join our team.Sing in the City was established in 2010 and pre pandemic had 1100 members in 18 choirs across Edinburgh, Fife, and the Lothians. Our choir Director, Kirsty Baird was honoured with a British Empire Medal in 2021 and has also received a Local Hero Award and an Inspiration Award from the Chorus Awards. Our choirs have performed sold out shows at many venues including the Usher Hall, Festival Theatre, and Adam Smith Theatre, and are well known for attracting large crowds at their popular busks.Our choir members have been singing online and much more while they could not meet in person, but we are now starting preparations for bringing our choirs back together in person again.
