We are currently looking for a Location Sound Recordist who can provide their own sound equipment with which to record sound for our short proof of concept film on Sunday 31st October, 2021."Smoking Fist" is a stoner kung fu comedy that has already won first place at the 2020 Cine Circle Pitching Competition and second place at the 2020 Raindance Film Festival Pitching Competition. Our selected Location Sound Recordist will be paid £75 per day for both their expertise and the usage of their recording equipment. In addition, they will receive an IMDb credit, good food and drink throughout the shoots, reasonable transport expenses, plus extensive publicity and exposure on NewmanTours.com, NewmanConsults.com, and on social media. Furthermore, our selected Location Sound Recordist will be given serious consideration for paid work on the feature-length version of "Smoking Fist" next year.Our selected Location Sound Recordist will also have the option of attending free martial arts training provided both online and offline by our choreographer, who has a black belt in Nam Pai Chuan Shaolin Kung Fu.
