We are looking to cast two roles for our short film: 'Jumper' (which will be included in our feature length series of films 'The Pandemic Diaries'.)Jumper - a child instils life into his mothers hot water bottle to come to terms with her suffering from the effects of Long Covid.We need:a) A talented male actor from the ages of 7-10 to play Daryll b) A 35-45 year old female actor for his mum.1 full day shoot (up to 12 hours) paid at the rate of £180Date: Mid November - TBC. Casting will be mainly decided by video - so please attach a short video clip (2 mins max, can be done on smartphone) of the script or at least pages 2-3.The chosen participant(s) are expected to attend one real world rehearsal (a few hours) alongside the main shoot day (if possible)Real life mother - son joint applications welcome!We especially welcome applications from minority, low income backgrounds as it is this side of the pandemic story we are seeking to highlight.In addition - we are currently scouting for a suitable location...so if you have a house and a garage that would be suitable ...please say in your application! :)Script attached.Good luck with the audition!Mike Attachments:
