Goop.com uses a similar format, though with a more new-age, American lens and without a dedicated mission to empower women and celebrate womanhood. We are pre-launch and well funded and intend to launch in Q4/21 or Q1 22. This particular role is unique in its ability to work end-to-end from conception to directing/shooting/post-producing with high-end equipment. There is also the ability to collaborate with renown guest-directors and photographers and to express your own creativity both within and beyond the role. Over time, the person can lead her own team. The role can start immediately.What you'll doCollaborate with our Editor and Founders on our Content Strategy, Content Production Schedule and Location and Production IdeasCollaborate with one of the two founders on all the production work (there will be typically two of us shooting for practicability and fun reasons)Produce roughly 7 Photographs a week and 2-3 videos with average length of one minute, and a longer feature (e.g., interview) of several minutes Shoot with the best contemporary equipment: Photography with Hasselblad X1D ii on 80mm 1.9f, Leica Q2 and Sony Alpha I with 35mm 1.4f and 24-70 2.8 (Sony mostly for video, with a Ronin RS 2 Gimble and a full 3-part SWIT lighting set as well as 3-set Apurture C300X kit with stands and modulatorsShoot in a fully equipped professional studio in South France, indoor and outdoor, with three Profoto B1 Plus Flashes, Multiple Backdrops, Bouncers/Blockers, Softboxes, Grids, etc.Post-produce content in Premiere Pro, Lightroom and Photoshop (employer provided licenses)Option to co-create Artwork with us in both fine art photography, mixed media and sculptureTravel with us to beautiful, luxurious destinations and shoot there - Cote d'Azur, Dubrovnik, Paris, BerlinWhat you'll needWe empower women, so we prefer applications for people who identify as femaleDeep passion for gender rights and equal opportunitiesArticulated sense for fashion, arts and life in all its beauty, with a strong drive to discover new things Strong command of photography, lighting and videography equipment as well as our postproduction softwaresA curious and pragmatic mind - what you don't know, you'll figure out fast through your network, research or by trying!Ability to stand-alone guide, direct and produce visually and technically strong content from start to finish - shoot in slog3, apply the appropriate LUTs to create our desired look, edit where required, cut, include titles and captions, include stills/overlays/music as needed and export in the required formatsThe ability to demonstrate the above with tangible examples (e.g., social media posts, written copy, photos, videos)Absolute fluency in Instagram - you should be able to share a list of videos on Instagram you think work very well, across Stories/Reels/IGTV Compensation, Flexibility and BenefitsNeed to have legal right to work in the UKCompensation is market level for candidates in the early phase of their career.
