We are casting several roles in a short film. The film is a drama/dark comedy about elderly loneliness, rejection, and homelessness.A retired boat owner barricades himself with distractions, too timid to cruise, too rigid for pleasure, he lives a closed-off existence until he meets his antithesis, a homeless man who shows him the error of his ways through one wild night. We are searching for actors to play supporting roles in the film. Set on the Manchester canals we are keen to hear from anyone with a connection to the waterways as a bonus!We will be shooting in Manchester on a date TBC.The roles are paid.
