    The PR Manager is responsible for developing insight-led PR strategies with clear objectives for TV content. You’ll lead on drafting strategies and managing the delivery of campaigns, including creative executions, media relations, talent management, influencer activity and events. This role will focus primarily on our original dramacontent.What you’ll do:– Devising and overseeing the end-to-end delivery of PR strategies for priority TV content, focusing on original factual, ensuring work is insight-led, aligned to wider business objectives and the Corporate Affairs narrative. A particular focus on Digital campaign planning is important – particularly driving newsfeed first campaigns– Media liaison, including developing and maintaining great relationships with a broad range of digital, print, and broadcast media for the benefit of the business. Strategic planning to ensure the execution of impactful campaigns using a broad and diverse range of media choices, with an increasing focus on digital.– Develop a close working relationship with broader Consumer Engagement Team colleagues in Social and Influencer teams to ensure fully integrated campaigns are developed and executed – which in some instances should be Social first.– Oversee work of junior team members to ensure they are delivering on time and to a high standard; handle the work of agency partners as required.– Build and develop key external relationships including independent production companies, talent agents and personal PRs.– Lead on responsibility for event management including media days and press events.– Evaluation of campaigns with team to show PR’s impact around the business. Share findings with stakeholders and Consumer Engagement team to factor into future campaigns.What you’ll bring:– Clear passion and interest in TV and drama content – you will be someone who loves TV and is passionate about working in (or moving into) the industry. The ideal candidate will be particularly motivated by drama content and subject matter.– Experience of managing complex and high-profile PR campaigns, with at least 5 years’ experience of publicity, possibly in TV. If your background is outside TV, we are interested in your transferable skills into our sector.– Excellent writing skills, including quotes/statements, copy, press releases, speeches, presentations and reports.– Clear issues and crisis management experience, in which you have taken the lead on handling particular issues arising, and corresponding media interest.– Proven media liaison skills across digital and social media, print, and broadcast, with strong established contacts in a variety of areas of the media.– Track record of working closely with on and off-screen talent including briefings and issues management.The TV & Film PR team is part of the Consumer Engagement team whose role is to inspire media and influencers to champion the best of Sky.Whether it’s our great original dramas like Gangs of London or Chernobyl, international hit shows like Mare of East Town and Succession, or our great factual content like Hawking or Framing Britney Spears – you’ll have the opportunity to work on shows that our customers love.We’re creative, driven and action orientated – we deliver great PR campaigns that get people talking about Sky, making customers value their subscription and prospective customers want to join Sky.
