We are currently seeking a Deputy Head of Wigs, Hair and Makeup to join our Theatre team on a part-time basis as part of a job share arrangement. This role has been successfully shared for a number of years and we hope to continue to offer it in the same way.The role:The Deputy Head of Wigs, Hair and Makeup supports the smooth running of the department, deputising for the Head of department as needed. This role liaises with key members of the production department to help ensure the smooth handover from the design and rehearsal process to running Wigs, Hair and Makeup requirements for our productions. They play a key role in managing and achieving the day-to-day activities of the department, keeping on top of the scheduling of personnel and running requirements of the department.This role is offered as a part-time post as part of a job share arrangement, with 16 hours per week to be worked across Fridays and Saturdays. Due to the nature of the role, it must be worked onsite at London’s Bankside and it sometimes requires evening working (agreed in advance wherever possible).
