Our short film is called "Blackout".It is about a couple, Layla and Benjamin, who live a mediocre but content life together, everything seems to be going smoothly until a mysterious woman disrupts their relationship. Their commitment and love for each other will be tested, but sometimes the person you might think you know turns out to be someone else.The story is mainly from Layla's point of view, she is an unstable woman who has dissociative identity disorder, sharing the personality of another. Caroline (mysterious woman) is an hallucination, which will be made clear to the audience, her interactions with Benjamin are all in Layla's mind. Benjamin eventually gets attacked and restrained by Layla who then reveals her split personality disorder, sharing a mind with a woman she calls Penny. Layla/Penny holds a gun to Benjamin's head, it fires which is where the story ends.
