We are organising a rehearsed reading of a new writing play, Evening's Empire, at the Drayton Arms Theatre. It is a comedy-drama. Lots of literary and acting agents will be invited, as well as theatre representatives, so it is a good opportunity to showcase acting talents. It is a comedy-drama about finance. The rehearsed reading will be on book, but there will be a couple of days rehearsal beforehand most likely. The plan is to then do a weeks run of the play in March 2022, which of course would mean actors would likely be offered to reprise their role at this point. The play follows the buyout of a healthcare company by a private equity firm.
