As a Floor Manager you will be required to make sure that TV production goes according to plan and that everyone involved in the production knows what they have to do and when they have to do it. Reporting to the on shift Director and Production Manager the likely candidate will be interested in broadcast and studio work and willing to learn in a fast paced environment.Accountabilities Supervising the setting up of equipment — screens, chairs, props, microphones and technical gearTaking direction from the gallery and following the narrative of the showBeing reactive to the presenter and producer in the studioGiving cues and time counts to presenters and crewLiaising with the producer and director and relaying instructions between the control room and studio staffDealing with technical problems and any last minute changesChecking on health and safety requirementsKnowledge, Experience & CompetenciesCandidates will be required to command excellent communication and organisational skills, work well within an existing team structure, have a proven ability to learn new skills and be passionate about TV.Core:Team Player - Works as part of a team to achieve common goals through shared ambition, communication and collaboration.
