Tart will explore the fragile importance of masculinity, focusing on the cause and effect of a homophobic family environment where misogynistic and macho sentiments lay the foundation for male/female relationships. At its core the film depicts a power struggle in which its central character strives to establish male dominance over his sisters in order to gain their respect. Subjected to years of abuse, for his effeminate qualities, Ivan is now under the warped perception that love and acceptance can only be assumed through exuding toxic masculine traits. 



This is a Final Year Student Graduation Film with a strong script and capable production team. We strive to depict a powerful, character driven drama that will challenge and inspire any actor in search of complex and fulfilling roles.



This is an exciting opportunity, with all expenses paid, to help tell an important and complex story, with young film-making talent; and add a strong credit to any show-reel.



The production is still in early stages of development and does not shoot until March 2022.
