We are looking for a producer to join our team for an extraordinary feature documentary project. The Project:Luke Grenfell-Shaw is a CanLiver: A person living with cancer, facing uncertainty and challenge on a daily basis, yet acknowledging they can still live a rich and full life. In 2018, at the age of 24, he was diagnosed with stage IV cancer. Now he is cycling 30,000 kilometres on a tandem bike ride from Bristol, UK, to Beijing, China, to show what is possible with cancer. Incredibly, Luke is inviting other people with cancer to cycle with him, and we see them overcome challenges together. Alongside this, Luke is raising £300,000 for five cancer-related charities.We are creating a feature documentary that captures the spirit of Luke and his Bristol2Beijing expedition to entertain, engage and inspire viewers to create their own opportunities to live their best possible life. We have already shot and produced a short film of Luke’s journey through Ukraine. Luke and his journey have been reported on by BBC, The Times, HuffPost, The Newstatesman, the the Jeremy Vine show and national news outlets in many countries.
