Plot summary: When her younger sister, Nelli, is having issues with anxiety and depression, Lillemor, a young woman of Metis descent is put in a difficult position - whether to tell Nelli a long family secret that might be the cause of Nelli’s distress, or keep it a secret? The two proceed to have the most important conversation of their lives in a sauna, revealing hard truths and issues about themselves and each other. It's an intimate film about sisterly love, dealing with heavy themes of mental health and self harm. Myself coming from Native American Decent, it is really important for us to represent this demographic accurately so we intend to have the actors playing these parts to be part or full native american.
