The film rides the line between tragedy and comedy - fusing the pure cinema of Hitchcock with an absurdist comedic undertone. The characters and the scenarios they face, no matter how bizarre, are treated with such sincerity that the audience doesn’t know whether to laugh or cry. The film is brought to life by a combination of musical sequences, including a tragic revelation set to The Who’s Behind Blue Eyes, an operatic ballet sequence using Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, and also a direct homage to Vertigo’s nightmare montage.Prospective shoot dates are early 2022, 5 days. The film will be shot predominantly in the London & Warwickshire areas.This short film is intended to be a standalone piece.
