Hello, I’m samra mayanja, an artist and writer, and I have an ongoing podcast entitled Edging Home. The project is an exploration of meandering topics and tangents that flow from conversations/ observations in different British coastal towns/cities/villages. I’ve been to Withernsea, Bridlington, Harwich (where I spent many years) and most recently Blackpool! I’m looking for two people to play two figures/people that I met in Blackpool but didn’t have the chance to interview. Their names are Laura and Moses. They’re a couple and I met them under an illuminated sign that read “I am the resurrection and the life”. Moses is a Gambian person in late 30s and Laura is a white person from Blackpool of a similar age. Ideally these roles would be played by people of the origins specified.This improvised scene will be a staged interview between myself and the two of you lasting roughly 30mins.If you’re interested please send a 1min self tape talking about your relationship with Moses/Laura.
