Jogos is about the events that occur after a man meets a waitress in a cafe and is taken by her supposed interest in him. After they discuss each other’s personal tastes and interests, the man is instantly taken by her attention and kindness towards him—something he has never experienced before.



Inspired by the song ‘Polly’ from Nirvana’s Nevermind album, Jogos examines the extremities that human infatuation can lead to. The disturbing and unsettling cases of missing and murdered women that we see every day on our own television and phone screens make these extremities more real and pressing day by day, and Jogos denies its audience the option to ignore the state of fear our society is currently living in.
