As one of our Junior Retouchers, you will be working closely with your team across all levels and be an active member of the Studios Team. You will contribute to department efficiency, whilst thinking commercially and innovatively to deliver the best e-commerce assets in the industry for our 20 something customer. You have the ability to successfully be a part of a team with a creative, strategic and operational mindset.What you’ll be doing…Reporting directly into the Senior Retoucher, you will be contributing to the day-to-day running of the Retouching team. This will primarily include product page enrichment of 1000+ products per dayEnsuring budget, cost per product, creative quality and volumetric KPIs are adhered toProven understanding of E- commerce retouching and good working knowledge of Adobe PhotoshopResponsible for producing top quality imagery with a consistent approach across all categories in line with ASOS edit guidelinesExceptional multitasking ability with outstanding organisational skills; able to use initiative and to work in pressurised environmentDevelop working knowledge of colour consistency with strong knowledge of colour profiles and colour matching processUnderstanding of actions for Adobe PhotoshopContribute to automated workflow solutions with support of Senior to streamline team practices and processesThe ability to work quickly and efficiently with a strong eye for detail and catching errorsContribute to ad hoc Retouching Team projectsContribute to reviewing your technical capabilities in Photoshop and software packages relevant to daily workflow and developing these with help of senior teamIdentify areas of site for improvement, through review and competitor research – presenting these findings within team meetingsPC literate with working knowledge of, Outlook, Excel and digital asset management softwareAssisting the Mid weights and Seniors to identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiencyParticipating in team growth and development, ensuring you are striving to support in the delivery of the department strategyContributing to team and departmental meetingsBe recognised as an aspirational figure within your teamShow excellent problem-solving abilities and positive, dynamic response to changeStrong communication and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workloadFollow established processes to deliver agreed creative and quality standards in line with departmental strategyWorking with the Seniors and Lead to support the training and development of new full-timers when requiredSupport Seniors when required with deployment of fulltime and freelance team resource to optimise the collective team skill setBe authentic, brave and creative and to follow all company and departmental strategies, leading by example and supporting your peersDeveloping your communication and future leadership style alongside your Seniors, in line with ASOS Behaviours policyWorking closely with your Seniors, Lead and Management team to successfully deliver the department strategy.Build strong, professional and collaborative relationships with the wider studio teamDemonstrating excellent brand awareness by working on areas for review, researching ideas and assessing competition when required to ensure we are market leadersParticipate in new workflow solutions to streamline departmental practices and processesParticipate in departmental technology software and hardware launches when requiredParticipate in projects to support the department strategy and any other ad hoc tasks defined by the Lead Retoucher and Post Production Manager
