Due to being let down, we are now casting for the role of EBENEZER SCROOGE at our Dickensian immersive theatre walkthrough event at Whatton House.



You must be a male presenting actor, ideally with a playing age of at least 40+.



You must be very confident and outgoing, able to ad lib freely without breaking character, as well as learning a script to convey the story during the guest's experience.



Preference will be given to actors available for the full run of dates, though we will consider all suitable applications.

BRIEF OVERVIEW (subject to change): A Christmas Carol themed walkthrough experience. Guests are met by a guide (Ebenezer Scrooge - multiple performers to play this role) and are walked through the grounds to discover 4 different set pieces, whilst being told the classic Dickens story (script provided). Roles are still to be assigned but will include a ghost of Christmas past, present, future, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, Carol Singers and other assorted extras.
