    The Visuals Director will play a crucial role in defining and refining at this exciting time in its history, overseeing and executing all aspects of photoshoot production and image research across print and digital. The successful candidate will work closely with the Creative Director and Editorial Director to contribute concepts, commission shoots and execute projects. This role calls for an experienced candidate with a thorough knowledge of the industry and an enviable contacts book of agencies, photographers, stylists and studios. The ideal candidate should have immaculate editorial judgement and a strong ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines at once.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesCommission and produce photoshoots for all platforms, liaising directly with photographers, studios, PRs personnel and Vogue’s editors and creatives to set up shoot assignment logistics.Maintain the photo budget and work efficiently within the resources, including tracking and monthly usage reports to stock agencies and processing all invoices.Oversee research and image selection for print and digital stories.Negotiate and secure all rights and fees for images, both produced photoshoots and researched work.Meet with agencies and photographers, and review portfolios, in order to maintain relationships and to unearth and introduce new talent.Manage the post production process, co-ordinating lo-res and hi-res selection and delivery.Create mood boards and pitch ideas. Coordinate with vendors to ensure all content meets Vogue, CN, and Creative Group standards for brand integrity and production quality.Essential Skills & Requirements5+ years of work experience in media or relevant field.Strong communication organizational skills required as is the ability to produce content under heavy deadline pressure.Experience managing a team on set and producing photo content efficiently.Must be able to contribute to editorial decisions and develop story ideas from start to finish. This includes pulling images for mood boards and researching video content for creative group reels.Must excel in a dynamic environment under deadline pressure while managing multiple projects. A meticulous eye for detail.A journalist’s knowledge of fashion and a passion for photography and illustration.
