“Regi’s Birthday” is a quirky yet disturbing black comedy about a mother and a daugh-ter dealing with the death of the father in a peculiar manner. Unable to accept his passing they have kept his skeleton around, pretending that he is still alive. On the particular occasion it is Reginald’s birthday, and Georgina (the mom) and Felis (the daughter) have prepared a proper feast for him. As the night passes it is harder and harder to understand who is pretending the most and for whom: is it the mother pretending in order protect the daughter, or is it the daughter trying to protect the mother? The ability to transcend reality through grief is at the core of this imitation game. 



We are looking for two actresses, to portray the mother and the daughter. We will be shooting for only one day, the 9th of December. As this is a Student film with very very small budget, unfortunately this is NOT a paying job.

However, the actors will receive a copy of the project, and their travel expenses will be covered.

We will be shooting this film in 35mm film, a great opportunity to work with this vintage medium. Attachments:
