We're shooting a self initiated photography series to launch in time for Christmas.The idea is to shoot beautifully elegant long exposure photographs of Christmas phrases/words being signed in sign language.A long exposure photograph has the effect of condensing several seconds of movement into one static image, thus translating the sign language phrase into one single, elegant image.We're looking for a dancer/model who knows basic sign language (or is happy to learn with us!) and available to travel for a shoot in East London. If possible we'd love to work with someone that has a genuine experience or involvement in the sign language community. The project is completely self initiated but we're contacting hearing loss charities to see if they're interesting in collaboration.
