We’re currently casting 2 roles (female & male) for a tour of Asif Khan’s ‘Jabala And The Jinn’. Looking for Actors from a Muslim background, playing age 20s, comic, Yorkshire and Arabic Accents.Writer Asif Khan, an award-winning playwright and actor, is passionate about creating stories drawing on his own experience of growing up as a Muslim in Britain. He is particularly keen to represent Muslim characters and communities in stories for younger audiences.Jabala the Jinn is the tale of a little girl’s playful and adventurous encounter with a very cheeky Jinn is told through a thrilling combination of physical theatre, music and new writing.Jabala and the Jinn, premiered online, live from the stage at the Belgrade Theatre earlier this year. It then streamed for over a month with accompanying schools outreach programme.
