Singing Teacher

The HOT Academy is looking for a passionate, proactive, imaginative Singing Tutor/MD for their fun, friendly and inclusive school in Dunstable.

Must be Enhanced DBS checked and chaperone licensed, or willing to apply for these certifications.

Professionally trained or with CDS School (or similar) background, committed, adaptable and bubbly. West End/tour or professional experience an advantage. To teach 2-3 hours per week; in two/three age groups for an hour each; 6-8yrs, 9-11yrs, 12-18yrs from 10am-1pm each Saturday during term time in Dunstable. Pay starts at £22/hr and paid monthly. Extra hours eg helping backstage in shows, fetes etc is £10/hr.

We perform our full-scale musical locally annually and usually appear in the West End/London/ big venue annually, both of which will be MD'd by the successful candidate including showcases, carnivals and fetes etc. Basic music editing and arranging required as part of the job, as would normally be required for such a role.
