Reporting to the CAO - TCS, the Systems & Project Accountant will assume responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of various projects within the TCS Finance organisation.The role will support the successful delivery of TCS finance transformation initiatives involving cross-departmental teams throughout all stage from inception through to deployment. The role will initially have a particular focus on finance systems, Order to Cash (O2C) and Record to Report (R2R) process improvements.The Systems & Project Accountant will work closely with project managers, TCS finance colleagues, in particular the individuals leading each change project. There will also be interaction with IT, external consultants, Global Business Services (GBS) and Group Controlling teams.The role will also support other projects such as the management of chart of accounts change requests for all legal entities, reporting units, ensuring requests comply with Technicolor Group requirements. There will also be involvement with projects relating to TCS Legal entity simplification initiatives.The role interacts with colleagues across European, Asian, and North American territories. Therefore, flexibility is required as the role will often require calls outside of normal working hours.Role ResponsibilityIn collaboration with TCS Finance process leads, PMO and external consultants support the roll out of finance system (Board) tool which consists of several projects relating to revenue recognition, billing, project controlling, monthly management accounts and financial planning processes across all service lines within TCS.Support with the simplification of TCS reporting chart of accounts structure (SAP, BW & Magnitude).Co-ordinate the project management activities of the TCS finance transformation projects supporting the project leads in preparing their documentation e.g., process mapping, steerco dashboard, project plan/ action log, business case and risk log.Interpretation of finance and accounting requirements across TCS and the development of solutions that will support the transformation.To leverage accounting experience to proactively identify and propose opportunities for improvements and efficiency gains.Support users through the transition from the old to the new system, being the first point of contact for end user queries on the finance system.Co-ordinate training associated with TCS change projects.To work closely with TCS finance, IT, external consultants, and other stakeholders to deliver quality high performing systems and processes.Be the point of contact to support and co-ordinate change management, business process owner and data manager.Person SpecificationQualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA/CA/other) or Part Qualified.Systems and Project management experience.Good Analytical and problem-solving skills.Consistent and highly organised.
