Merry Christmas is a 10-minute, black and white short film, which will be shot on 35mm film.It is a London Film School project. The crew is formed up by Term 4 filmmaking students and above. All the crew members are experienced and the director’s last black and white 16mm short film was selected for the London Film School Showcase.The film will be shot on Locations (London) and in the Studio of London Film School (Shelton Street).Shooting DatesLocations: 5-6th FebStudio: 16-19th FebThe Synopsis of the Film:Drew is recently released from prison after serving eight-year sentence. He wants to see his eight-year-old daughter but he doesn’t know where to find her. Drew’s mom, Mila, knows about where Drew’s ex-wife, Laura, and her granddaughter live but she doesn’t agree with the plan that Drew visits them. However, Drew finds out Laura’s address by accident and he goes there anyway. Laura is furious when Drew shows up near her house.Drew is in deep internal struggle between the natural wish to see his daughter and the worry about potential bad effects on the kid if he shows up. After so many hesitations and obstacles he’s been through, Drew decides to dress up as Santa Claus to visit her daughter again on Christmas Day.
