    Your role will be to lead on Programme Management for the department, oversee the operational methodologies and approaches across each area, and to identify new and innovative ways to drive efficiencies and synergies within – and importantly, across - 4Studio’s key pillars. You’ll lead a direct team of three project management and operational members, with dotted line oversight into PM resource in other departments that straddle 4Studio. You will also be the key operational conduit into the wider Marketing and Viewer Experience (MVE) departments (4Creative, Marketing, Product, Comms), ensuring we have the right workflows, communication and processes to integrate seamlessly into cross-departmental campaigns. The role will also be the key 4Studio stakeholder liaising with and feeding into Channel 4’s PMO function on high-level strategic priorities.You’ll be a clear, agile communicator and efficient problem solver, who is able to view the department at a macro level, identify challenges with complex interdependencies, and then introduce new methodologies and approaches to drive the department’s acceleration in a variety of areas – from leading business cases for long-term technology needs, to implementing new frameworks to improve production efficiencies, or working with the 4Studio Leadership team to develop and rollout new workstreams that set the department up for future, long-term success.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  Responsibility for the successful delivery and deployment of transformative workstreams – owning schedules and plans, identifying the scope, resource and cost of each, and resolving key blockers along the way.Establish effective ways of working to co-ordinate the transformation of a number of workstreams across teams – from content delivery through to the scoping of technological projects, the introduction of new tools and processes – to ensure the execution of high-level strategic goals.Define strong but pragmatic workstream governance in support of rapid decision-making, empowered ways of worked and controlled delivery at pace.Support the Head of 4Studio in engaging with and managing stakeholders throughout each project, and work closely with other Operational delivery leads to identify and mitigate interdependencies across 4Studio and beyond – inc. the leading of joint planning sessions.Run effective risk and issue management processes to ensure risks are identified early and mitigation plans are well defined, implemented, and communicated.Provide clarity to the PMO and key stakeholders on the status, progress and escalations as needed.Lead 4Studio’s growing operational function, ensuring excellence and innovation in planning, delivery and mindset, and embracing a ‘fail fast’ culture to engender change.ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE  Experience as a high-performing leader with a demonstrable track record of complex delivery and impact within a transformative environment.You’d ideally have 10+ years in project/programme management, with a strong background in digital projects and companies.Proven experience working within digital – and ideally ‘start-up culture’ – environments – while we don’t expect you to have experience in every element of the department, we do need you to prove your comfortability with change and growth at speed.A confident, proactive leader, comfortable in managing and engaging with senior stakeholders and in dealing with and navigating ambiguity or shifting context.Proven ability to translate from strategy into transformation and operational delivery, and an understanding of broader strategic context and the importance of ensuring strategic alignment.Awareness and experience with different operational methodologies and agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban etc). Experience with tools such as Monday.com preferred.Track record of building and leading high-performing teams.Strong influencing, relationship-building, leadership, and communication skills, supported by strong EQ and learning agility.
