Looking for a Head of Automation for their autumn 2023 production of ‘Sinatra The Musical’ directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall; Set Design by Peter McKintosh.

Company states "This will be a new large scale musical with a cast of 20 and an on-stage orchestra of 17. The show is still in its design process but currently we are anticipating the automation of sliders, tracks in floor and a band platform – exact quantities of axis are in the process of being confirmed. There will be one character played by a child; therefore this role will require a DBS check.

During the contract dates you will be required to abide by Birmingham Rep’s policies and procedures which will be supplied with the contract.

This role will report to and be supported by the Rep’s Head of Stage. Successful applicants need to have at least 2 years automation operation experience and ideally be familiar/competent with general operating systems such as provided by high end theatrical providers.

There will be a tech swing employed on Sinatra to support all departments and provide cover."
