• Description

  VIVIENNE is a store manager and has been with a large retail supermarket chain for 10 years. The store is her local one and she’s very close to all of her staff. One quite evening, one of her colleagues Sam, was threatened by a group of hooded youths whilst he was on a till. The incident shook a number of members of her team, especially Sam. Vivienne noticed that since the incident, Sam had been avoiding customer engagement and manning the tills. As his manager, Vivienne was keen to make the store a safe place for him again so she offered to change some of his shifts and made him aware of the EAP counselling that was available to him
