Cherwell Theatre Company work with young people to bring their unique qualities and aspirations to life through inclusive community theatre, in close collaboration with professional artists. We recently received support from Arts Council England to adapt our 2017 E Safety play 'The Web' into a film, with accompanying online workshops for year 6s in primary schools.Our cast will be composed of 50% 2020 graduates and 50% actors who identify as BAME.With this in mind we would like to meet male and female actors that fit this description to read for the role of 'The Voice'.Dates are TBC but likely to be:Week commencing 26th October- online R&D process with young people from CTC's youth theatre/young company and professional creative teamWeek commencing 23rd November- 1 week filming/recording voice over in a studio in Banbury, North Oxfordshire (with social distancing measures in place)Rates of pay are in line with ITC guidelines- £500 per week for R&D and £1,000 for the filming week (including a usage fee for 12 months).
