About me
I trained at The University of Manchester and The Royal Northern College of Music and have a Bachelors degree in Music. I am classically trained in violin, piano and voice.
I have completed a short course at The National Film and Television School work as a composer from my home studio with Logic.
My work includes working as a copyist on the production of 'Alls Well that Ends Well' at the Sam Wanamaker Theatre and composing for the short film 'Reality' for producer and writer James Campayne. I composed and arranged the strings for songs on the album 'As I disappear' by Kevin Critchley and also performed with Kevin's original band 'The Fifth Movement' in several gigs, including at Chester Rocks Festival. I have also written a Mass for 4 voices which was workshopped and performed in 2014.
As an instrumentalist I've played in orchestras and sung in choirs for the past 20 years. I can compose and score entire works myself and I can score and record additional instrumentalists myself. I can work with Sibelius, Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase and Movie Maker. As an ex-teacher I have a huge amount of patience and determination to get the job done right and on time. I'm easy to work with, efficient, approachable and accommodating. I work hard and I love what I do.
