About me
I've studied music at varying academic levels for coming up to the past decade. I have had professional vocal and piano training and work experience within the studio. I also have experience in live settings both with being an engineer, stage hand and stage technician. Currently I am studying Electronic Music Production and Performance at university, where I have access to 14 professional grade studios/venues from your standard studio and live room to post production/foley recording and mixing areas (including 7.1 systems), as well as a live venue. (I also have my own home studio if COVID restrictions are not lifted).I create a lot of electronic music - mostly ambient and electronic pop - however at the moment I'm currently exploring my skills as a film/game scorer and composer, as well as venturing into post production. Within my scores I'm creating a lot of orchestral & electronic pieces, however I am happy to explore different genres if the need arises. I also enjoy creating heavier tracks in genres like DnB, and I am especially talented at including vocal harmonies and processing to help add and layer in a track. I use my voice as an instrument often in my music, and specifically to explore melodies and harmonies.
I also enjoy playing around with rhythm and beats within my music - especially coming from an ambient background, I never got a chance to explore rhythm within my work as I often felt there was no need for it. However, as I've grown more and experimented more, I've realised I have a natural affinity for creating interesting rhythms and beats within my pieces.
