CAA, the talent agency that represented Kevin Spacey, severed ties with the actor on Thursday, according to The Associated Press.

“CAA are yet to comment officially on any of the allegations, although a representative for Spacey stated on Wednesday: “Kevin Spacey is taking the time necessary to seek evaluation and treatment."

“In a further development, Scotland Yard is now investigating The former Old Vic Artistic Director over claims he sexually assaulted a male actor in his London home in 2008.

A Met Police Spokesperson said, "On 1 November, City of London Police referred an allegation of sexual assault to the Metropolitan Police Service.”

“It is alleged a man assaulted another man in 2008 in Lambeth” “Officers from the Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command are investigating."

Fresh allegations of sexual assault have also been made against Spacey by a male former employee of the hit Netflix show House of Cards.

“Netflix has suspended filming of the sixth season of the show amid allegations that surfaced last week, by Star Trek Discovery actor Anthony Rapp, who alleged that Spacey attempted to seduce him when Rapp was aged 14.

“Eight current or former employees of House of Cards have now claimed that Spacey made the atmosphere on set “toxic”.

The unnamed employees have decided to remain anonymous in an effort to protect them from any potential professional fallout.

The targets of Spacey’s alleged predatory behaviour were typically young males, who were subjected to non-consensual touching and rude comments.

It's been a turbulent time for Hollywood of late with Harvey Weinstein, Dustin Hoffman and Brett Ratner among those accused of alleged sexual assault.
