Open casting call for Disney dog sled adventure movie this weekend!

AN OPEN casting call for a new Disney movie called Togo will be held this weekend in Canada.

The casting will take place between on Saturday August 25 in Cochrane, Calgary in Canada between 10am and 5pm.

Disney are on the hunt for men, women and children to play background characters.

The casting calls for candidates to have the following attributes: 

  • Caucasian male background characters have beards and/or some facial hair with no modern haircuts.
  • Caucasian and First Nations female background characters with no highlights in their hair and no modern haircuts.
  • First Nations male background characters without modern haircuts.
  • Caucasian children background characters should be between 3 and 12 years old with slim builds.

Production will take place between September and February in Calgary, according to ACTRA Alberta.

Oscar-nominated The Florida Project actor Willem Dafoe will star in the movie as Leonhard Seppala, according to IMDB.

Togo will be directed by Daredevil and Point Break director Ericson Core, based on a screenplay by Gifted writer Tom Flynn.
