Users Under 18

In order to create an account and manage your profiles on The Mandy Network, you must be aged 18 or over. Child performers aged 17 and below can have profiles on Mandy, however these must be set up and managed by their parent or legal guardian, and this individual must control all communication associated with the account.

This rule is intended to protect the safety and privacy of children on Mandy, ensure parents and legal guardians are involved, and to comply with local and international laws.

What does this mean for new users?

  • New users on Mandy must verify their age at sign-up.
  • Parents or legal guardians of children under 18 are able to create and manage an account on behalf of their child.
  • The parent or legal guardian will be required to use their own name and email address during the registration process, but will have the option to set their child’s name as the display name when creating a profile, alongside headshots of the child.
  • The parent or legal guardian may be asked to verify their identity, and this can be done by getting in touch with the Mandy team directly, where they may be asked to confirm security information on the account and provide proof of identification.

The Mandy Network prides itself on the safety of our members. These protocols are in place to protect the young performers on our platform, in order to comply with important legislation, while being as unobtrusive as possible for parents and legal guardians.

Should you have any questions or concerns regarding these protocols, or would like further guidance on creating an account on behalf of your child, please contact us on emails@mandy.com.
