Whatever They Say is a 5 minute musical about two women, who after realising they are the only same-sex couple whilst attending a busy house viewing in a new neighbourhood, express their fears of standing out through song.

We're currently looking for our two leads and supporting actor, and will be holding a live workshop audition.

The film is Directed and Co-Written by Erica Belton (with Alice Uzzan), a recipient of the London Film Academy’s 2021 Emerging Filmmaker Award. Passionate about female-led queer stories, Erica seeks to focus her work on how compelling storytelling can break stereotypes and gendered tropes.

Our Producer, Christien Bart-Gittens, has had his shorts screen and win at BAFTA qualifying festivals, as well as secure distribution in the US and EU. Travel expenses will be provided.
