Our award winning, Warner Bros licenced, production will see over 42,000 audience members over its run, and this year we are excited to be casting for approximately 45 roles.
This version of The Polar Express™ is a 65 minute immersive show following the narrative of the 1985 Children's book by Chris Van Allsburg, and the 2004 WARNER BROS™ film, with a full scripted storyline, choreographed dance and singing elements on a moving train.
The Mid- Norfolk event is licenced through Warner Brothers and Rail Events and is independent to all other productions.

APPLICANTS:
As we are governed by Warner Bros, we strongly advise all applicants research the film/book prior to applying, and certainly before second phase in-person audition.
We will only consider applicants who follow the casting brief and send an initial self-tape. We pride ourselves on watching all tapes received and replying with a yes or no to second phase.

Rehearsals: NOVEMBER: 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th
Performances:
(2 show days) NOVEMBER: 18TH, 24TH, 30TH. DECEMBER: 1ST, 7TH, 8TH, 14TH, 15TH
(3 show days) NOVEMBER: 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th, 25th, 26th, 27th. DECEMBER: 2nd, 9th, 16th.
(4 show days) DECEMBER: 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd.

PAYMENT:
TOTAL CONTRACT £4,520**
**Rehearsals and 2/3 show days are £120 p/day, 4 show days are £160 p/day.

AUDITION:
Phase 1: Self-tape, (We ask for these due to our location), No later than midday 5th July for all roles.
Phase 2: Successful self-tapers will be invited to Audition workshops on either 19th or 20th July in Norwich, Norfolk. Note: We keep numbers for these low to give all a viable chance.

*APPLICANTS:
The following applies for all roles:
1.All applicants 18+. 2. Roles are offered on a self-employed basis, you will be responsible for your own tax & NI. 3. No expenses are paid. 4. Assistance sourcing cost effective accommodation and lift-share available. 5. Good level of fitness, it is a demanding run. 6. Applicants must be available for all rehearsal and performance dates. You are free to take on other work on off days. 7. Be able to react quickly to changing circumstances. 8. Some roles contain Swing roles, this will not be for more than one character.
